When we met Anthony was starting his career as a wedding photographer. Being 'the photographer' for my social circles meant that I would often get asked if I wanted to shoot somebody's wedding. I didn't, but I would always refer them on to Anthony. Our only two connections for the four years in between our photography studies and when we caught up on 10.04.12 was that I had his number - which I would pass that on to anyone who asked for a wedding photographer - and that we we facebook friends.
And then I recommended him to my sister for her wedding. And we thought that perhaps it would be a good idea to catch up
before her wedding so we weren't trying to do so
at her wedding.
I was a bit worried because we hadn't spoken in so long and we might not actually have a lot in common anymore...
Three hours later we were still talking.
